Type does more brand work than your logo
[Placeholder copy] A logo appears once. Your typeface appears on every word a customer ever reads.
[Placeholder] A logo is seen for a fraction of a second and then ignored. Type is read for minutes at a time, on every page, in every email, on every pack.
[Placeholder] The voice of a brand is partly the words and largely the letterforms. Change the typeface and the same sentence changes meaning.
[Placeholder] Consistency beats novelty. One family used with discipline reads as more considered than five used with enthusiasm.
[Placeholder] Choose for the worst case, not the best. The typeface has to survive a phone screen at night as well as a billboard in daylight.
